Meidän Talli/ Our Stable

Xette on vaihtanut tallia suhteellisen paljon tässä 3 vuoden aikana, mutta vihdoin ja viimein ollaan erittäin mukavassa paikassa ja sijainti on mitä mahtavin. Xette elelee Ylästössä, jossa myös itse asumme ja tallille tulee matkaa vain noin 300 metriä. Talli on pieni ja täynnä mukavia ihmisiä. Lähes kaikilla on vain 1 hevonen ja osalla käy muutama vuokraaja. Hevosia tallissa on nytten 7 ja syksyyn mennessä tarkoitus on että tallilla on 9 hevosta. Tässä tallissa mahtavaa on se että paikka on pieni, tallihenkilökunta on osaavaa ja mitään ei ole tehty kalliiksi ja hienoksi, vaan pääasia on hevoset ja viihtyvyys. Tämä tuo minut aiheeseen joka on minulle tärkeä, elikkä että ratsastusta voi harrastaa myös ilman että siihen tarvitsee laittaa älyttömästi rahaa. Laji tulee aina olemaan hienosto- ja kallis laji, mutta harrastajana voi valita missä hevonen elää, minkä merkkiset varusteet ostaa itselleen ja hevoselleen, jolloin summan voi hyvin pitää siedettävänä. Laadusta ei saa tinkiä niin että siitä joutuu kärsimään hevonen tai ihminen, mutta omien saappaiden ja kypärän ei tarvitse olla täynnä timantteja jotta voi rastastaa. Kunhan varusteet toimivat, niin homma toimii. Taloudellisesta puolesta kirjoitan enemmän myöhemmin omana teemanaan, jolloin pääsette seuraaman miten lajia voi harrastaa ilman tuhansien eurojen menoa joka kuukausi.

Takaisin tallillemme, tällä tallilla ei ole mitään lämmittettyjä satulahuoneita tavaroiden kuivaamiseen. Kaapit ja satulat olelee samassa tilassa kun hevoset ja jos on kova sadekeli niin meillä on tapana tuoda loimet ja varusteet kotiin kuivumaan. Hienot maastoreitit löytyy heti vierestä, ja kenttä on mahtavan kokoinen. Nyt miellä oli kisarata aidat kentällä muutaman viikon, ja silti viereen mahtu myös esteitä. Maneesille on matkaa reilu 1km, reitti on mukava ja toimii hyvänä alkulämppänä silloin harvoin kun maneesia tarvitsee käyttää. Sateella tietenkin ikävää kun matkaa on enemmän, mutta tallipaikan hinnasta kun karsii nämäkin asiat muuttuvat hieman. Ja sokerista emme onneksi ole tehtyjäJ Tärkeintä on että on mahdollisuus tehdä, harrastaa ja oppia. ps. siivoamme kyllä jokapäivä tallissa, mutta kuvista näette että priimakunnossa ei joka hetki tartte ja voikkaan talli olla.

 

Our Stable

Xette has changed stables quite often in the last 3 years, but finally we are in a really nice place with an amazing location. Xette is now living in Ylästö, Vantaa, were we also live and the way to the stable is only 300m from our house. The stable is small and filled with nice people. Almost everyone has only one horse, and some has a few renters that comes a few times a week. We have now 7 horses at the stable and by autumn there should be 9 horses.

The best thing about this stable is that its small, the staff is capable and nothing is made fancy and expensive. The main thing is the horses and the comfort. This brings me to a very important topic of mine, that riding can be your sport and hobby without needing to spend a huge amount of money on it. Riding will always bee a fancy and an expensice sport, but as an amateur you can choos where your horse lives, what label of clothing you use for your self and your horse, so that the amount you spend stays bearable. Quality needs to bee good, so that it dosen´t bring problems to you or your horse, but your boots and helmet dosen´t need to be covered in diamonds in order to ride. As long as the equipment works, your good to go. About the ecomonical point of view I will write more later on, and then you get to know how you can have riding as a hobby without spending thousends of euros every month.

Back to our stable, we dont have a worm saddle room where we could dry our equipment. Everyone has one closet and a place for the saddle, and these are in the same area as the horses. And if it has been raining a lot we usually take our equipment home to dry. Nice terrain can be found starting from the yard, and the training field is really big and nice. Now we built the dreassage course on it, and still tehre is room outside of it to practice jumping. To the manége its a 1km way and it works as a good wormup, those rare times we need to use it. When its raining its of course not so nice that the way is a bit long, but when you save in the price of the stable place these things change as well. And were not made of sugar:) The most important thing is that we have the possibility of doing, training and learning. ps. of course we clean the stable everyday, but from the pictures you see that it doesn´t need to be in perfect look and it can't even be every moment.
